The Beginning… Of Our Journey

Firstly, I would like to say great thanks to one of the widely popular social networking platform Facebook, which is really making people connect and build new contacts. In today’s technically advanced era the famous saying that in relationships distance doesn’t matter actually proves to be correct. No matter which part of the world you are, you can make friends, meet your life partners, connect with new people for a profession or more.

How We Met?

Any guesses why I am thanking Facebook. You guessed it right. CoupleOnBike you are meeting today met online.

Two strangers met each other on Facebook, became friends, life partners, business partners and biking partners.

The journey started with online friendship and has come a long way and now two friends are exploring the world together.

A simple friend request sent randomly would change our lives forever seems like a something one wouldn’t believe in and those who share the same experience would easily relate to our story.

What Interests Us?

We both are bloggers by profession and have been in this field for quite sometime and I would like to specially mention that we love our work as it offers us flexibility of time thereby allowing us to follow our passion too. You all know by now that our common passion is biking.

Why stick to ROUTINE, when you can FOLLOW YOUR HEART!

From Strangers To Friends, Life & Riding Partner

Okay, let me tell you how did our story proceed from complete strangers to friends and how we have come together a long way. One person sitting in Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) and the other one in Jaipur (Rajasthan). Hey, did I tell you that my home town is the queen of hills, Shimla?

Some of my friends planned a trip to Goa and while sharing it with Yogesh I asked him if he would like to join us and he agreed. Then the complete planning session began, date, stay, boarding of flights, de-boarding and everything. Finally one day we met each other in Goa.

Our First Meet..Short & Sweet

This wasn’t the first time we met, infact we first planned to meet each other while I was in Delhi for a short trip. It’s quite strange that two people are in conversation with each other online since long and when they meet each other for the first time, they go speechless also, there are butterflies in the stomach. The meeting went on for quite sometime and then we headed back to our hometowns with good memories and smiles.

Our First Short Ride…In Goa

Coming back to Goa, we had a gala time with friends. Don’t know how it hit, Yogesh and I planned to hire a bike for some hours and explore Goa on the bike. Yogesh by that time had his Royal Enfield Classic 350 in Jaipur but was not much into biking; just few small trips with friends he had done. However, he always had dreamt to go on long bike rides.

Luckily we got Royal Enfield and then while on the bike, we had small conversation about biking and passion for bikes.

There and then we came to know that we shared the same passion for bikes!

Riding Together : Amazing Experience

I remember asking Yogesh if I can stand on the bike (not literally on the seat, but on footrest) he said no, not here if you were in Jaipur I would have let you do so. Guess what, I am in Jaipur now and riding with Yogesh. That one line I guess was God’s sign that this was coming our way. Finally, the Goa trip came to an end and we came back from home.

This was Jab We Met.

Yogesh Mankani
No words describe me best than a hardcore biker. My mind, body and soul sync in when I am on my bike. Each time I set out on my journey and when I come back, I am a totally different person. It's really difficult for me to pen down my feeling when I am on my bike. Who cares about the destination. For me it's all about ride!
